Qualifications:
Minimum:
18 years of age
North Carolina credentialed EMT, EMT-I or EMT-P
High School Diploma
Valid NC Drivers License
Preferred:
Associates degree in EMS (or related field)
National Registry
Previous experience in EMS/Fire/Rescue
ACLS, BLS, PALS, ITLS certifications

Starting Salaries:
Full-Time:
Paramedic: Grade 34 $16.20 - $25.94 per hour
Advanced EMT: Grade 31 $14.20 - $22.73 per hour.
Salary rates do not include overtime pay that is built in to a 24/48 schedule.
Part-Time:
Paramedic: $18.00 - $23.00
Advanced EMT: $15.22 - $20.00
EMT: $12.97 - $17.97
Employee will earn time-and-one-half cash compensation for each hour of overtime physically worked in excess of forty (40) hours in a 7-day work week.
