Explorers Post 437

Text Box: The Stokes County EMS Explorer Post 437 was established in October of 2008. The Explorers is a Boy Scouts of America Program and was designed to develop a career awareness by exposing young people to their possible career choice. All aspects of a career in Emergency Services is taught with Post 437. The Explorer Oath: On My Honor, I will do my best to do my duty to God and my country and to obey the Explorer laws; to help other people at all times, to keep myself physically strong, mentally awake, and morally straight. Membership requirements: Must be between the ages of 14 and 21 and be at least in the 9th grade. Must be enrolled in school and maintain a "C" average or above, or have a High School Diploma or GED. Must complete an application and appear before a review board and be voted into the post by the members. Must be approved by the Charter Organization Representative. Must be physically and mentally capable to perform Explorer Post functions. Must conform to the Explorers rules and regulations manual. Must attend Post meetings and other post functions as directed by the post advisor. Must be a resident of Stokes County, North Carolina.
