Text Box: Vial of Life Program
This program is designed to provide your medical information to emergency personnel and law enforcement agencies in an emergency situation. It can be used at home and/or in your motor vehicle – a separate kit is needed for each location. The Vial of Life Program is comes with 2 (two) florescent stickers, information sheet, and pill bottle. After the information sheet is filled out, place the sheet in the pill bottle, and then place the pill bottle on the side door in your refrigerator. Place each florescent sticker on your front door, back door, or the most commonly exited door by yourself. Emergency personnel will recognize that you are participating in the Vial of Life Program and go to the refrigerator to retrieve the pill bottle with all the pertinent information concerning your healthcare needs.

Child Passenger Safety
The Stokes County Buckle Up Kids program is an extension of NC SAFE KIDS.  Our Child Passenger Safety (CPS) Technicians have successfully completed a 32-hour national course in CPS including correct CR use, harnessing of children in child restraints, seat belt configurations, CR misuse and vehicle designs that affect child restraint installation .
Our purpose is to provide education and assistance to parents, caregivers, and general public regarding CPS and Child Restraint’s (CR’s).  This promotes injury prevention strategies that can reduce the incidence of CPS/CR related child fatalities.
